Myriad supports everyday people forming outreach church communities, in new ways.
Working in partnership with parishes and national church leaders, Myriad helps to equip and train lay people who are establishing new church communities.
The Myriad pathway is a two-year community-orientated learning journey, for teams of everyday people as the work towards forming new church commitunities.
Designed primarily, but not exclusively, for lay people, the Myriad Pathway is open to anyone who can:
- Share something of their sense of God’s call to start a new worshipping community
- Gain the encouragement and backing of their church leader
- Commit to journeying through the process as part of a team
From toddler groups and allotment communities to sports clubs and workplace friendships, wherever your community comes together, Myriad can guide you as you live out God's mission and shape the church around the people you know.
The Myriad Pathway includes:
- 5x two-day in person gatherings, (one every 6 months, typically Friday evenings and Saturday daytimes)
- Mentoring for the team leader
- Oversight and support from an experienced church leader
With in-person gatherings, online learning and mentoring, you'll be supported to build a small team and share leadership of a new worshipping community, you won’t be alone. You'll also connect with others responding to the same call, sharing ideas and learning together.
