St Nicolas, Witham make church mice out of wood!

In August 2024, St Nicolas Witham cut down part of a tree in their churchyard to make it safe. Just over a year later they've turned the linden wood cut from the churchyard into church mice!

The mice were hand turned by Rev'd Noah or Jacki, a great friend to the church, with the hope that the mice will raise enough funds to recoup the costs of the tree maintenance.

Rev'd Noah shared:

"The grain on some of the mice is beautiful."

"All [the mice were] done using the #skew, which Jacki says is throwing myself in the deep end, but they all turned out really well ... They're all named after a Saint and would be perfect for the mantlepiece or your desk."
