On Sunday 4th January, St Mary's Church in Woodford celebrated Epiphany, remembering the visit of the Magi.
" Today at St Mary's, we celebrated an Epiphany tradition of blessing chalk and then marking the threshold of our homes, with a blessing remembering the visit of the Magi and the theme of hospitality throughout the Scriptures. We marked the threshold of St Mary's as we remembered that all are welcome in God's house."
